Totally rundown site. Costs $10 to use their boat launch and $5 for a day pass. Also there's a $10 minimum purchase on their debit machine.

Went for the Sept long weekend, beautiful lake, sunsets and company. We had a group of 10. We Really enjoyed the closeness to the beach, fires, swimming and friendly atmosphere everywhere :)

We were here a few weeks ago. It's a nice campground. But, it seems they're slowly dwindling down the amount of public campsites. There is a good boat launch here if the lake water is up. You can fish off the pier if you get the early enough to get a decent spot. Nicely treed as well.

I highly suggest to use the parking or boat launch of any nearby provincial site around the lake

This place was an excellent place during my childhood. I have so many fond memories. In my adult life, I have had nothing but negative interactions with the management. The lady that manages the campsite is downright unpleasant, and impossible to please. I have recently come by to have dinner with my family, who was staying in the campground. That night I was told there was inadequate parking, and that I was required to park in the ditch, outside the campground. This would have been completely understandable had there actually been a lack of parking. That being said, it's not a battle worth picking with the female attendant, as everything appears to turn into a conflict if you challenge her, or bring anything to her attention. We also returned the following evening, knowing that we would be required to park in the ditch, I came into the campground, and was greeted by the same manager; she was spewing about how I was driving far to fast, and that there were children playing. I observed the children playing as I pulled in. They were well off the road. I pulled in at 11 km/h and decelerated as I pulled up to the crossing arm. No one was in any danger. This was my last visit to a campground that had so many amazing childhood memories, I will not return until it is managed by a new person who can act in a professional, polite manner without belittling campers, day-passers, and the like.
